Background

Taking its inspiration from BMW’s iconic 507, the Z8’s design was the work of Henrik Fisker, who managed to blend the car’s classic looks with the contemporary performance under the bonnet. At its heart lay the E39 M5’s 4.9-litre V-8 mated to a six-speed gearbox, producing 400 bhp. Thanks to the car’s starring role alongside Pierce Brosnan in the James Bond film The World is Not Enough, the Z8 was easily recognizable to petrol heads and the average motorist alike, and 5,703 examples were produced over a four-year production run. Every Z8 was built on a special production line within BMW’s Munich facility, largely by hand. This 2001 BMW Z8 Roadster #0366 was originally ordered through BMW of Mississauga on November 9th 2000. Purchased by original owner Mr. Hansen, this special motorcar would be delivered on March 30th 2001 to his home in Toronto, Canada.

All services performed on his special Z8 were completed through BMW of Mississauga. Extensive chronological documentation provided including copies of all service records and maintenance records from delivery of vehicle in 2001 to present, along with the original bill of sale for this motorcar.
